Buy Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Online

I really enjoyed this film - much more than any of the other Harry Potter films. Like Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, this film has lots of departures from the book but it works very well, particularly when viewed as part of a series of films rather than a book replacement.

I read somewhere that Rowling read and approved each of the scripts as the films were being shot. I'm not sure, however if she had a clear understanding of the consequences of the omissions and additions made to the events in all of the movies. It has worked fairly well so far, but I am kinda' wondering if all these changes will somehow result in a bad movie version of "Deathly Hallows"?

I really enjoyed the humor n this film. There were a number of scenes that were down right hilarious - scenes like the tribute to Aragog for instance, and there were some real subtle little funnies like the scene where Ron is sitting between Ginny and Harry at the Burrow, and also the one where Harry gets informed of Vane's love potion plans by Hermione and the brewing of "Living Death"! I loved Hermione's comments about Harry "enjoying his dessert", and the way she explained to Ron how he split with Lavender during his recovery from poisoning.

I am such a big Harry Potter fan so I was excited about this movie and was probably ne of the first to buy it when it came out on DVD.
