Considering a Family Cruise?
Not too long ago, I experienced my first Disney Cruise with my family and my best friend. This is my report - hope you enjoy...
Disney Cruise Lines offers a terrific family experience with world class Disney entertainment, amazing shore excursions, and a big batch of Disney fun!
Dedicated to making your journey a memorable experience, the Disney "cast members" are with you all the way - delighted to share their support and expertise so that your journey is exciting and unique.
The Disney Cruise Company offers several travel packages to choose from which all include
both land and sea adventures. They are even working in the background on two additional ships, even larger and jam packed with fun filled
activities and amenities.
Disney is a Family Friendly Cruise Line
The Disney Cruise experience is a family friendly experience.
Family friendly means that your experience is wholesome, your safety is assured, and all of your needs are met while sailing to exotic lands and ports. Family friendly features include the beautiful Walt Disney Theater (reminds me of a plush Broadway theater on Broadway), the Buena Vista Theater (Disney movies ' round the clock) and Studio Sea Theater (a television sound stage that offers G-rated floor shows). If you're looking for a wholesome and fun cruise experience in a family style atmosphere, then a Disney cruise is the right cruise for you.
Vacation
When you board a Disney Cruise Line, you're departing on a voyage unlike any other. Whether you want to spend your entire vacation on board or you want to take advantage of every possible shore excursion, you'll enjoy yourself like never before. And it's actually a very affordable way for the entire family to take a vacation! At first glance it would appear that travel companies offering vacations on the water are all exactly the same. You'll soon discover however that nobody does cruise vacations like the folks at Disney.
The Ship
Disney Cruise Lines sail 2 ships, the "Wonder" and the "Magic. Designed
to be reminiscent of the grand ocean liners of the 1920's and 1930's, both ships depart from Port Canaveral Florida. We were on the "Wonder" but I understand both ships are very similar.
Characters
Disney Characters cavort about the ships regularly with the passengers which adds an element of fun that the kids will love. Disney characters actually set sail with both ships in the Disney cruise line, promising surprises around every corner.
While on board the ship, your children can enjoy an avalanche of fun Disney World style activities and they can mingle with their favorite characters as well. On Disney ships, you'll actually see more Disney characters than you will at the theme parks. There be characters in the three major shows, and they;ll be all around you on the ship - on deck, in musical show, and on excursions too!

*sniff* this makes me want to go on one even more now than before. I get sea sick but I think if I kept myself busy with all of the cool stuff they have as well as keeping food in my system I think I would be okay. :-) great hub! Sounds like a blast!
