Two Terrific Beaches in Hawaii

Crescent shaped Hanalei Bay is a lush white sandy beach that is visitd by countless tourists and locals.

In my opinion,it's one of the most spectacular beach settings in all of Hawaii. Featuring a two mile long strand that is lined with beautiful palm trees, scenic waterfalls, and picturesque 4,000 feet mountain peaks, it is absolute paradise on earth!

Princeville Hotel is situated atop the high bluff to the east, offering one of the most beautiful views in all of Hawaii. A high lava flow point which extends deep into the Pacific is attached to the other end of the beach creating a gorgeous landscape. That landscape is the inspiration for countless photographers and painters all year round.

Hamoa Beach on Maui is a pocket beach, surrounded by coconut and palm trees, plenty of cliffs, and lush, flowering vegetation.

Also a crescent shaped beach, this beach differs dramatically from Hanalei in that it's made out of lava and coral.  Yep, Hamoa Beach is actually INSIDE a volcanic crater. It's necessary to take the “Road to Hana” for this particular beach - sort of a double-crossed road with sporadic drop-offs of over one thousand feet. The trip to Hamoa is a real adventure!
